We acknowledge that you have chosen to trust us with your personal data and we are devoted to keeping that trust. With that in mind, we want to help you understand our privacy practices.
This document outlines the data we collect, how it is used and shared, and your choices. Privacy Principles
• We respect your trust and we do the right thing with your data through responsible data management as users would expect. We keep it accurate, and complete and properly destroy it when no longer needed.
• Our lines of communication are opened for receiving privacy reviews on products, technologies, and services to make sure users’ expectations are fulfilled.
• We collect and use only the amount of personal data we need for lawful purposes with your permission.
• We safeguard and protect personal data.
• Users have clear choices and control over their privacy management.

Data we collect
We collect data provided by users during account creation, and data created during the use of our services, such as location, app usage, and device data.

User profile: We collect data when users create or update their accounts, and when they create orders. Such data include their name, email address, phone number, password, address, and profile picture, banking information, car or bike plate numbers, NIN, identification documents (which may indicate date of birth, gender, and photo). This also includes occupation and other user profile information provided.

We may use the photos and other confidential information provided by users to verify their identities.

Demography: We may collect demographic data about users and their location.

User Content: We collect the data submitted by users when they contact ZendIT customer support, and this may include feedback, photographs, or other recordings including audio or video recordings provided by users during customer support communication.

Travel information: We collect travel itinerary information, including the times and dates of journeys as provided by users.

Location: We collect users' precise or approximate location data, to enable tracking, facilitate deliveries, and help users find one another as well as for security purposes to prevent and detect fraud, and to satisfy legal requirements.
ZendIT collects this data when the app is running in the foreground (when the app is opened and on-screen) or background (app open but not on-screen) of their mobile device. We use location data to find users who are near you and help them navigate to your pick-up or delivery spot. There are special situations, such as preventing fraud or responding to safety incidents, where ZendIT may collect background location. We collect such data from users’ mobile devices if the user chooses to enable us to do so. Users may use the app without enabling ZendIT to collect precise location data from their mobile devices, however, this may affect tracking features on the app, which means that other users would be unable to locate them for pick-ups or delivery and would have to manually send their locations.

Transaction: We collect information on transactions carried out on the app such as the type of services requested or provided, order details, payment transaction information, delivery information, date and time the service was provided, amount charged/paid, and mode of payment. If someone uses your referral code, we may relate your name with that person. Usage: We may collect data about user's interaction with our platforms such as date and time, location, app features or pages viewed, other activities, and type of browser used. We may also collect data regarding the third-party sites or services used before interacting with our services, to track marketing leads and make automated decisions. Device: We could retrieve data about devices used to access our platform, including the device model, IP address or other unique identifiers, operating systems and versions, advertising identifiers, device motion data, software, preferred languages, and mobile network data.

Communications: We enable users to communicate with us and with each other on the platform. To provide customer support service assistance, ZendIT may receive data on calls, texts, or other communications, including the date, time, and content of the communication. This data may also be used to improve our services, for security purposes, and for analytics.

How we handle users' data
ZendIT uses personal data to enable reliable and smooth running transactions in order to provide you with quality service and security, optimize the Site, understand how people use it, and perform our obligations to you.

We make use of the data for the following.
For analytics, research, and development: it helps to improve our services and platform functionalities, to understand and analyze our performance as well as your preferences and performance in order to enhance your experience. For optimizing user experience: To provide you with quality service and security, to operate the Site, to perform our obligations to you, and to develop and improve our service.
To enable communications between users.
To enable communications between users and ZendIT, and provide customer support.
For legal processes: to maintain relevant business records, to comply with applicable laws and regulations as well as lawful requests by public authorities.
For the safety and security of our users and services and to prevent fraud.
To send marketing communications to users: to promote and advertise the site updates and functionalities. To pass on information that may be of interest to you.
For decision making ZendIT does not sell or share user personal data with third parties for their direct marketing, except with users’ consent.

Data Sharing With the user's permission, we may share user data with the following entities.
• With the account owner: We allow users to view details about themselves on the platform, either provided by a 3rd party or by themselves.
• With other users: to allow other users to interact and gain knowledge of who they are dealing with as well as aid delivery of smooth services.
• With the general public: Information on reviews, ratings, and feedback may be posted for public consumption.
• With ZendIT service providers and business partners.
• For legal purposes, or in case of dispute resolution.
• Marketing: We may share data with our marketing partners and marketing platform providers, which may include third-party data providers, advertising networks, and social media advertising services in order to gain a better understanding of our users and measure advert effectiveness.
By agreeing to our privacy policy and terms of use, you give us permission to use your data as stated.

Data retention and deletion
We keep user information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of its collection. However, we may retain personal information if necessary for longer periods of time. Users may request deletion of their accounts at any time and we may retain user data after a deletion request due to legal or regulatory requirements or for other reasons stated in this policy.

User personal data management
ZendIT provides users with access to control and give feedback about how we handle their personal data.
Data request: Users can access data regarding their profile and order history through the ZendIT app or website. Profile Update: Users can update their details such as name, phone number, email address, and photo associated with their account through the Settings menu.
Preferences: Users can set or update their preferences regarding location data collection and sharing, emergency data sharing, notifications, and device permissions. Users may request that we stop using all or some of their personal data, or that we limit our use of their data. ZendIT may continue to process data after such objection or request to the extent required or permitted by law.
Deletion: Users may request deletion of their account at any time through the settings.

Policy Updates

We may periodically update these policies. If changes are made, we will notify users in advance of the changes through the app or other means, such as email. We encourage users to occasionally review this policy for the latest information on our privacy practices.

COOKIE POLICY

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device by websites or apps and are used to remember your browser or device during and across website visits. They make your online experience easier by saving browsing information. With cookies, we can keep you signed in, remember your site preferences, and give you locally relevant content.

Cookies are collected and used for a number of purposes, including authenticating users and Session management. Cookies let us recognize and authenticate users and recall their login information and preferences which helps us to create personalized and customized content. It is used to determine the popularity of content, deliver and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, analyze site traffic and trends, and generally understand the online behaviors and interests of people who interact with our Services.

You have the right and option to choose whether or not to accept cookies, however, if you choose to refuse or remove cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of some services. Some web browsers are set to accept cookies by default but you may choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies

TRUST AND SAFETY POLICY

Property Damage and Theft
Endeavor to avoid causing damage to property handed into your care for delivery. If you cause damage to property, you would be held responsible for all reparation cost including repair, recovery, legal, or intervention cost by a 3rd party. Theft of property is highly prohibited and would attract consequences such as prosecution and an outright ban from the platform. Associated costs would be beard by the user if found culpable.

Sharing Accounts
Account sharing is not allowed. To use the ZendIT Platform, you would have to register and maintain your own active account. Do not permit a 3rd party to use your account, and never share your personal information used in connection with your account, including but not limited to your login details. Delivery must be completed by the delivering user (courier) including any handling after the order is picked up from the sender until final delivery to the receiver. Do not transfer delivery orders if you are unable to proceed with the delivery. Notify the sender before commencing the trip and return the parcel at your own cost.

Courier and Vehicle Information
For easy pickup and delivery, ZendIT gives out the courier’s information such as profile picture, name, and user ID, while for users with bikes and vehicles, it includes the user’s license plate number, make, and model. Courier and delivery people must complete trips and deliveries using only registered vehicles and bikes. Outdated information must be updated before taking up any transaction in order to avoid confusion, suspicions, and criminality. To provide accurate information, let us know your vehicle information and provide any updates to your documentation that may become invalid.

Emergencies
In case of unfortunate unforeseen occurrences which may delay delivery, the courier must notify the sender and if unreachable must submit a report to ZendIT support team online before taking any further action, as well as fill out the issue report and come to a resolution with the sender and receiver on possible solutions at courier cost.

User-Generated Content Policy
As feedback is highly encouraged in the ZendIT community, we may accommodate you to upload, publish, or submit content in the form of text, audio, or visual formats in relation to feedback to the customer support team or in submitting entries for competitions and promotions. We may remove, edit, use, or process user content for any purpose and we do not assume responsibility or liability for User Content either by removing or processing it. ZendIT does not pre-screen any User Content and does not endorse or approve any User Content uploaded on the platform.

All Content provided by you remains your property, however as you provide such content to ZendIT, you do grant us a limitless, permanent, irreversible, transferable, royalty-free license, with the right to sublicense, copy, adjust, revise, transform, distribute, publicize, publicly act upon, and utilize in any manner in all formats and distribution channels without further notifications to you or consent from you, and without the obligation of paying you or any other person or entity. ZendIT retains the right to use all published, and uploaded content for marketing and promotion purposes if necessary.

You admit that you are either the sole and exclusive owner of all submitted Content or you have all rights, licenses, and consents sufficient to grant ZendIT the license to the submitted Content as described; and neither will any actions or inaction of ZendIT on said content misappropriate or violate a third party's intellectual property, proprietary rights, rights of publicity and privacy, or in whatever way result in the violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Whenever you access or use the Services, you agree that you will not:
• constitute any form of nuisance or inconvenience to other users on the platform such as harassment, incite violence, use of vulgar words, hate speech, threatening or making derogatory remarks.
• Violate any law or regulation.
• Run any software or program to harm or cause damage to, interfere with, or disrupt the Services or another's computer or property.
• Interfere, damage, disrupt, or cause harm to the Services or any server or network used to support or provide the Services, as well as any hacking or cracking of the said Services.


• Post or publish illegal content or content that you have no authority or license to distribute.

• Impersonate a ZendIT employee or partner, or another user.
• Make false claims or reports to ZendIT support staff.
• Engage in fraudulent activities whatsoever on the platform.
• Attempt to hack or use the platform through unauthorized means or services.
• Partake, encourage, or promote any of the prohibited activities as stated above.
ZendIT reserves the right with or without prior warning to revoke your access to certain features on the platform if found to have violated any of this agreement in this policy document.

Zero Intolerance Policy
ZendIT does not in any form or means tolerate theft, assault, harassment, or intimidation of any form. Please report any of such activities of found by any user to the support team or by email.
